PAKISTAN BATTING LINE UP IN Champions Trophy 2013 The Champions Trophy is over, but the pain of Pakistani Team's worst defeat is still there in hearts of many Pakistani cricket fans like me, and perhaps will remain for ever. Because it was a last champions trophy. At the time when pakistan cricket team's squad was selected, many people have objected over not giving chance to senior players (Abdul Razzaq, Shahid Afridi, Younis Khan and Muhammad Yousuf) and young experienced players.At the time of squad announcement, it was confidently claimed by chief selector Qasim Iqbal and Captain Misbah ul Haq that "The squad consists of the best players up to date" But this confidance was dropped down when the entire pakistan team was back to pavilion on 170 runs against west indies, chasing the target of 172 runs in 1st odi of group match.Similar was the case in 2nd odi when they were all out on 167.Finally Pakistan has got out of the tournament after facing defeat by traditional rival India.Pakistan cricket fans, Ex pakistani players and cricket analysts has stated the batting lineup and the lack of experienced and senior players in the squad responsible for such worst defeats, and this is very true. In this I CC tournament our batting line has performed like a street cricket team. They were visible for seconds in the groun and vanishing in moments from the ground. Pakistan has scored 502 runs in its all 3 group matches. Where the bad performance of Pakistan batting line has played its role, the rest was played by the rains of England, and always been showered against Pakistan. Its worth remembering that there is a question mark placed on Pakistan's batting line from years. "Whom will be a cure for this incurable desease ?"Sometimes coaches are being replaced and sometimes changes in the batting order is being made, and sometimes both junior and senior players face music by each other. But this time a quite good and a winning combination has been set for west indies tour. Lets see what they gonna do..
